Auditions for our fall musical “Smoke on the Mountain” will be held August 27 and August 28 from 6:00-8:00pm at the playhouse.

 Come join the fun of the singing Sanders Family, as they come out of retirement and once again share the gospel through song, where everything that can go wrong, does. Show dates are November 1, 2, 7, 8, 9.

 Needed (minimum of) four males and three females. Family members are also the orchestra and must be able to play non electrical instruments; guitar, banjo, ukulele, fiddle or other stringed instruments. Extra singers will be added that do not have to play instruments. There are also parts for two non singing “church ladies” who interject their comments throughout the show. 2025 Great Event - A HUGE Success

A big thank you to everyone who made our Great Event a huge success. From our guests, to our numerous volunteers, our caterers, our band, our neighbors, and our community that allows us to “take it to the streets,” everyone was wonderful. Even Mother Nature held off on the big rain until everything was cleaned up.

See you the fourth Sunday in August next year, August 30th, 2026.

The stage is set, the lobby decorated, and a line of costumes ready for our youth musical, Hansel & Gretel. The Port Austin Community Players fully understands the impact youth theatre has on the students in our area. Not only do they make new friends, and develop new skills, they also understand the importance of showing up and in turn get a boost to their confidence. Skills we hope they will carry for a lifetime. Be a part of our future and watch these young people deliver the magic of theatre.
